Since my actual birthday was way busy with school activities and Matthew’s karate testing, we decided to “postpone” my birthday by a day. We had a nice little celebration with the cake, cute cards the kids made for me, and a few gifts (a couple of t-shirts, cookies, and a Mexican Train domino set). And I actually wasn’t trying to be mysterious about my age… we just discovered too late that we didn’t have a “2” candle on hand. ;)
