Kaylee came home from school with this painting she had done in art class. She’d intended it to be a Mother’s Day gift, but hadn’t gotten it back from the teacher in time. I adore it and am totally impressed with all the detail and the style and color, so it surprised me that Kaylee was critical of it. She explained that she hadn’t gotten to finish, and she didn’t like that she had gotten the paint outside the lines in a few places. I think it’s perfect just the way it is. :)
