Kaylee’s been pestering us to let her use her allowance to buy donuts for all of us. Mark finally agreed to take her up to the corner grocery store and let her pick some out. She prefers the ones with the thick chocolate frosting and filling or sprinkles. She found out when she got there that her money wouldn’t go nearly as far buying those as it would getting plain glazed. So Mark suggested they buy the plain ones and add chocolate syrup and sprinkles at home. She liked that idea and the kids said they were delicious, so it seems to have been a great solution. :)
And, as one who has all too much experience with the agonizing process of Kaylee trying to make a difficult decision, Mommy was very impressed with Daddy’s creativity and quick thinking on his feet. :)
