Thursday morning was Matthew’s schedule pick-up for middle school. He got his school supplies and class schedule and locker number and combination. Sixth grade is the first time the kids get lockers that actually lock, so learning how to use them is a big deal.
He practiced a bunch of times, and more or less got the hang of it. :)
We also found all of his classrooms and walked the route he’ll take about a dozen times. (Wow, that was a lot of walking!) Changing rooms on their own is also another first, and the building is larger and a bit confusing, so he got turned around several times. By the end, he seemed to have it pretty well down though. Hopefully, he won’t get too lost when the halls are filled with 950 kids!

What?! He's no longer in elemntary school?
I didn't know they moved so early over there. Or did he skip a grade?
F will be in his last year of elementary before moving to high school.
