So getting my camera out every day is a hard habit to get back into. A last-minute before bed shot of my well worn shoes, sitting on the floor beside my computer, basking in the glow of its blue lights.
Where I post my photos for Project 365 and the stories to go with them.

Mark saw me with my camera looking around the room, shooting random post-holiday chaos, and asked what I was doing. When I told him I was planning to restart my photo-a-day, and I was looking for something to shoot, he promptly struck a pose. Gotta love enthusiastic support from the family. :)
Happy 2012! Dusting this blog off for a fresh start. Not promising every day, but I’m hoping to not completely abandon the project this fall like I have the past two years. I like having the photographic record of our days, no matter how mundane. :)
So in the pic above, in spite of how it might appear, Kaylee was not actually pretending to be the frightened victim in a scene from a horror movie. She was actually just wiggling her new loose tooth. :)

Kaylee was very proud of her art creation on this mini Etch A Sketch. (It’s on the end of a pen.) She says this is a bird by a window and a falling tree. :)
Had a little fun with some shots of Matthew having a little fun with a Slinky. :)
Had to sneak in another post for today. I love this shot of Mark helping Kaylee with her shoe-tying practice. She got it down pretty well last summer, but her shoes this spring had Velcro rather than laces, so she’d forgotten how to tie and is doing a little refresher. :)
Mark and the kids stopped by US Toys on their way home from the magic club meeting this morning. It was a time for fierceness and fun. :)
